Privacy Policy
Who we are
Capybara versus Dragon is published by BoltCorvus. For any question about your data, write to support@boltcorvus.fr.
Data stored on your device
Your progress stays on your device and is read only by the game:
- the levels you have passed and the stars you earned;
- your best score on each level;
- your bonus stars, your hint stock and the play time counting towards the next free hint;
- your settings: haptics and the three-star fanfare.
No account and no email address are required. This data never leaves your device, and uninstalling the game deletes it.
Advertising
The game is free and funded by advertising. It shows three formats, all served by Google AdMob: a banner at the top of the board, a rewarded video you choose to watch, and an interstitial on a cadence.
To serve them, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, its IP address and how you interact with an ad. For that processing Google acts as an independent controller, under its own policy.
Your consent
Before any personalised advertising, the game asks you twice:
- a Google consent form (UMP), shown automatically in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Your answer is passed on to AdMob and decides whether the advertising you see is personalised;
- Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, which asks whether the app may read your device's advertising identifier.
Refusing either is fine: the game behaves exactly the same and the advertising simply becomes non-personalised. The advertising SDK is started only once you have answered — never before.
You can change your mind at any time. In the game, open Settings → Advertising → Privacy choices to reopen the consent form. Tracking can also be switched off for good in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
What we do not do
We have no server of our own and we do not sell your data. The game has no account, no sign-in, no analytics tool, no Game Center, and it never asks for your location, your contacts or your photos.
Retention
Game data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Your advertising consent choice is kept on the device by Google's SDK, and you can change it at any time as described above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access, correct or erase your data. Since your game data is local, uninstalling the app erases it. For advertising, use the privacy choices in the game's Settings. For anything else, write to support@boltcorvus.fr.
Children
Capybara versus Dragon is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly ask them for no personal data.
Changes
